This is the first time I shot the Henry 45-70 Big Boy. Loaded it with Honady Lever Evolution that has soft polymer tips that will not cause the primers to detonate on impact. This is a big NO NO for any other type of ammunition in a tube fed magazine unless the rifle is being loaded by a side gate. I should not have loaded the rifle this way as others may interpret incorectly.
